Join Us

Any boy who is 11 years old, or one who has completed the fifth grade or earned the Arrow of Light Award and is at least 10 years old, but is not yet 18 years old may join Troop 31 as a Boy Scout. 

Most boys join at around age eleven but many boys join at a much older age and are successfully integrated into the Troop.

Membership in Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church (our Charter Organization) is not required and no prior experience in Cub Scouts or other Scouting programs is required. 

If you're eager to get started, you can begin by completing these forms from scouting.org:

• Member Transfer Form (if applicable)

• New Youth Application

• New Adult Application

• Current Safeguarding Youth Training Certificate (must accompany the Adult application)
